SOFT FLUFFY DINNER ROLLS

Ingredients
For the dough:

3 ¾ cups (470g) all-purpose flour
2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
1 tsp salt
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
1 cup (240ml) warm milk (110°F/45°C)
¼ cup (60ml) warm water (110°F/45°C)
4 tbsp (60g) unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
For brushing:

2 tbsp (30g) melted butter
Instructions
Activate the Yeast:

Combine warm water, a pinch of sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
Mix the Dough:

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
Add the yeast mixture, warm milk, egg, and softened butter. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the Dough:

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes (or use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5 minutes). The dough should be smooth and slightly tacky.
First Rise:

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Shape the Rolls:

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12-15 equal portions. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and place them in a greased baking dish, leaving slight gaps between them.
Second Rise:

Cover the dish and let the rolls rise again for 30-45 minutes until puffed and touching each other.
Bake:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Brush with Butter:

Remove the rolls from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter for extra softness and flavor.
Tips:
Make-Ahead: After shaping the rolls, cover them tightly and refrigerate overnight. Let them rise at room temperature for about 1 hour before baking.
Freezing: You can freeze baked rolls for up to 3 months. Reheat them in the oven at 300°F (150°C) until warm.
Enjoy your soft, fluffy dinner rolls! 🥖✨
