2 stick butter (1/2 pound, soft)
1 c vegetable oil
1 c granulated sugar
1 cup confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
2 eggs (large)
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 C flour (500 g)
1 tsp baking soda un
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
2 pecans (chopped)
1/2 granulated sugar (for decoration)
instructions:
Preheat oven 325 degrees F .
In bowl, whisking butter, vegetable oil, 1 c white sugar, also confectioners’ sugar to smooth.
Beat eggs one at time, adding vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, cream and salt; Stir in cream mixture. Mix in pecans.
Rolling dough to 1-inch balls roll eash ball in rest white sugar.
Placing cookie 2 inches aside on cookie sheets.
Baking about 10 to 12 min in a preheated oven or to edges are golden.
Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
