INGREDIENTS
320 g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
200 g (3/4 cup) softened butter
110 g (¾ cup) powdered sugar
a pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
Sugar
Cocoa Powder
Milk
PROCESS
In a large bowl, beat butter with powdered sugar, salt and vanilla. Add an egg and beat again. Mix the butter mixture with the flour and knead to form a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into quarters and roll each into a sausage shape. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Fill a sugar palace and mix the sugar with the cocoa powder on another plate.
Unwrap the dough, brush it with milk and roll 2 logs in brown sugar and 2 other logs in cocoa sugar.
Cut the dough into 2.5-3 cm pieces and bake for 18 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
