Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast activates.
- Add the egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt while stirring until you get a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for about an hour until it doubles in size.
- Heat a non-stick pan or a special pancake pan over medium heat. Pour small amounts of batter and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with honey, chocolate, or jam as desired.
